A beautiful sunny Monday out in Toronto. Over the 12-month strip, NYMEX was down $0.10 USD/MMBtu on the day, while the 12-month Dawn strip fell $0.05 CAD/GJ. WTI moved higher, rising $4.33 USD/bbl to $103.97. In Ontario, imports strengthened on Midwest demand, though the broader shoulder season transition remains intact as warmer weather and improving Dawn injections continue to loosen balances. The forecast has turned materially warmer, with temperatures now expected to range from roughly 3-11°C through mid-April, about 18.8°C warmer than the prior forecast and still above the 10-year normal, reinforcing a weaker weather-driven demand outlook.
