Happy Friday
A quiet, warm Friday to finish up the week. The NYMEX April contract drifted around today, but ultimately settled up 8 cents at $4.11 US/mm. Besides a little Canadian economic update this morning, not much fundamental news has come out. Traders were likely covering some shorts.
Manufacturing sales, wholesale sales, and new motor vehicles are down slightly in Canada. Nothing too crazy, but worth keeping in mind.
Temperatures are set to be above normal for the rest of the month. Here in Toronto, it is 9 degrees Celsius, but it’s too soon to say if this warmth will linger. In the coming days, meteorologists should start to have a better picture of how this spring will look.
Have a lovely weekend!
