Happy Friday
Some volatility to end the week; the February front month contract was down to $3.80 US/mm in the morning, but has since turned around and increased to close at just over $4 US/mm. Trading for the February contract has been winding down, with its expiration approaching on January 29.
As for the near future, some cold is expected for the East Coast, but most of the US will likely see near-normal or above-normal temperatures. There is talk of some variation though.
The market is nervous, and the question is if this warm weather will allow prices to come off, and how long will it take to do so.
Have a great weekend!
