According to the current forecasts, today is supposed to the be chilliest day of the rest of April. The rest of the month should jump up back to normal or above. NOAA’s 6-10 Day Outlook is showing a lot of orange and red.
The big news today comes out of Alberta, where apparently an incident occurred somewhere in Fort St. John, BC that caused a pipeline in the NOVA system to temporarily go down. As a result, AECO spot prices spiked today. Turns out it was only a quick shutdown though, all systems should be back to normal by tonight. It may take a few days for AECO prices to come back down. Otherwise, not much else to report.
Tomorrow’s storage report is still expecting +22 Bcf. Stay tuned.
