Market Fundamentals The Dec23 calendar strip (one-year) decoupled from contracts past Nov24 today. The prompt month Dec23 contract fell throughout the whole day, settling down nearly 7%. Weather fluctuations and runs further out continue to swing prices. We are currently looking at falling prices into mid-month, but past November 13th, 2023, temperatures are expected to return above the 10-year normal.
