Market Fundamentals Natural gas had a bumpy day today with a strong surge this morning, followed by falling prices in the afternoon. Weather has once again adjusted warmer, and tomorrow’s EIA storage report is looking bearish. An injection of 81 billion cubic feet (Bcf) is expected, which would see storage ending +6% over the 5-year average. The past few reports have shown some surprises though, so tomorrow may bring further volatiltiy.
