Market Fundamentals Oct23 looked to decouple from the rest of the curve today settling relatively unchanged, well the months following fell. Above normal temperatures continue to delay the start to the heating season, keeping balances loose amidst higher production and lower LNG feed gas demand. Nine of the eleven past contract expirations have lost ground into the settlement so we will have to wait until 2:30PM to see if Oct23 is able to stay at levels seen today.
