NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contract Prices started the day up although settled closer to yesterdays closing numbers.
Market Fundamentals Natural Gas consumption in 2022 ended on a record high at 141 BCF per day; breaking the previous record of 137.4 BCF in 2018. The winter of 2018 were plagued with strong winds, record low temperatures and a number of major snow storms. If winter does return we could see this market rally into the Spring, 2023. (RS)
