Weather continued to show colder revisions, with a wave expected to come December 12th, 2. Asides from this piece of fundamental news, the U.S. EIA storage report was also released today. While the average estimate was a withdrawal of 25 Bcf, the actual number came in at 21 Bcf. This proved to have a minimal effect on prices though, as they rallied past the 10:30AM release to a high of US$6.16/MMBtu. Many looked to capture their gain though at the end of the day, with 14,000 contracts exited prior to the settle. This brought prices back to sub-$6, with January 2023 settling at $5.962 ~CL
