The frozen Thanksgiving turkey did not make it way to US based energy traders tables! Historically when the US traders thanksgiving turkeys is frozen due to cold November weather they buy Natural Gas future through to the end of the winter. This year the temperature were above to average causing a slight sell off all day today. We are at the end of the month and could see a reversal over the coming days. Prompt markets were off by $0.32 USD/Mmbtu. This week we close off December trading, leaving three months of trading for the balance of winter. This market could go either way at this point. (RS)
